We met originally at school and scouts, and ganged up with Dave Beresford, Mick Regan and Bun Warren. We were all close right through 'til we were all married but unfortunately, only got together rarely afterwards. However, we managed to keep in touch, even if it was only a Xmas card each year. If we had a £1 for every time we said we must see each other the next year, it would have paid for a good evening together.

Even though we hadn't seen each other for a few years, we will miss him - he was part of all our early lives.
